If an individual’s home was assessed at $450,000 in 2021 and is still assessed at $450,000 in 2022, the K-8 school taxes would decrease slightly from $4,922 in 2021 to $4,919 in 2022. The owner of a home that is assessed at the township average will pay about $5,393 in K-8 school taxes (1.0913 x 4,942). The average home in Freehold Township is now estimated to be assessed at $494,212. In 2022, the K-8 school tax rate is projected to decrease slightly to $1.0913 per $100 of assessed valuation. The owner of a home that was assessed at the township average paid about $4,661 in K-8 school taxes (1.0939 x 4,261). The average home in Freehold Township was assessed at $426,190. In 2021, the K-8 school tax rate was $1.0939 per $100 of assessed valuation.
